Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber
  • 150 g cream Cheese
  • 100 g smoked salmon
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and black pepper

Instructions

  • Slice the cucumber lengthwise into thin strips using a vegetable peeler or mandoline.
    Zucchini rolls filled with smoked salmon and cream cheese, sliced into bite sized pinwheels and served on a white plate with dill and sesame seeds.
  • Pat the cucumber slices dry with a kitchen towel.
  • In a bowl mix cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.
  • Place a strip of smoked salmon on top.
  • Carefully roll the cucumber slice and place seam side down.
  • Serve immediately or chill before serving.

Notes

Use a vegetable peeler or mandoline to create thin cucumber slices. Thin slices roll more easily and hold their shape better.
Pat the cucumber slices dry before adding the cream cheese mixture. This prevents excess moisture and helps the rolls stay firm.
For extra flavor you can add chopped chives, a small amount of horseradish, or thin avocado slices to the filling.
Serve the cucumber rolls chilled for the best texture and freshness.
